The first and largest aviation cluster in Poland, which successfully combined industry and science. It represents innovative sector of the aviation industry. “Aviation Valley” is located in south-eastern Poland. The region is characterized by a large concentration of aviation industry companies, pilot training centers, scientific and research institutions and developed educational and training facilities. Geographical area of cluster’s activities extends from Bielsko-Biała in the Śląskie Voivodeship to Świdnik in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. Most of the companies involved in cluster’s activities are located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, and heart of the Aviation Valley lies in the capital of this region – Rzeszów. Aviation Valley Cluster was established by 18 Founding Members, currently it consists of 160 aviation industry companies. Strategic task of the “Aviation Valley” cluster is transformation of south-eastern Poland into European center of advanced aviation technologies.

Unit of the Cracow University of Technology working on increasing effectiveness in implementing the results of academic research of the home university to the economic space.
For 20 years, it has taken initiatives aimed at improving the innovation of our region by transferring technologies and supporting participation of Polish entities in framework programs by participating in national and international cooperation networks. Commercialization of research results, technology transfer, support in the area of framework programs, as well as business development services are the main fields of activity of the Technology Transfer Center at the Cracow University of Technology. Main task of the Center is work aimed at increasing efficiency in implementing research results of the parent university to the economic space.

It is a special purpose company of the University of Silesia. The Staropolska Chamber of Industry and Commerce is the largest organization from the business environment operating in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. It has been operating on the market since 1990. As an Enterprise Europe Network center, ŚCITT provides internationalization support. University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów has been operating since 1996. Its distinctive feature among universities of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship is intensive cooperation with economic environment based on its educational, consulting, information and research activities, and also through cooperation with national and international business environment organizations which has contributed to the development of a reliable business partner. With the use of human resources and infrastructure, the University acquires funds for the social and economic development of the region.
