COGITA

From March 2012. Local Development Agency Ltd. implements the international project “COGITA – Social and ecological responsibility of enterprises within the framework of regional policy”, under Priority 1: Innovation and knowledge-based economy OF THE INTERREG IVC program.

13 institutions from 13 countries participate in the COGITA project (Italy, Austria, France, Cyprus, Belgium, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Spain). Project leader is the CISE institution – Center for Innovation and Economic Development – Agency of Forlì-Cesena Chamber of Commerce from Italy.

Aim of the project is to improve regional policy by supporting the concept of an integrated approach – Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The project will identify and implement tools that public authorities and other public stakeholders can adopt in their regional economic policy to effectively support SMEs in implementing CSR. The project assumes an interregional exchange of experience with the involvement of local stakeholders – each of 13 partners – in order to ensure project compliance with local priorities.

 

Duration of the project: January 2012 – December 2014

Total budget of the project: EUR 2 547 790.71

ERDF contribution: EUR 1 973 144.09

As part of the project, the Upper Silesian Agency for Entrepreneurship and Development Ltd. cooperates with the Self-government of the Silesian Voivodeship and the Council for Corporate Social Responsibility in the Śląskie Voivodeship.
